It doesn't get any better than this!

One of the greatest feelings in the world is the feeling (and emotions) I get when Babyluv looks at me and says, "Mommy, I love you so much!" Gosh, motherhood is a beautiful thing!!

No complaints!

Life is great! Daddyluv and Babyluv are simply wonderful. We are a little tired - this time of year is very busy for us. As for work, it is going well. I am teaching high school Spanish again and so far, my year is heading down the right path. I have really good kids this year and my schedule is amazing! I teach everyday until 2 p.m. I use the rest of the workday to complete my teacher duties i.e. grading papers, making copies, writing lesson plans, etc. My days fly by so fast! I also have an amazing teacher's assistant that is nothing short of a blessing. She helps me out so much - I am very blessed to have her. Because of my wonderful assistant and my super-efficient work ethic, I rarely bring anything home - only 1-2 days a week (very rare for a high school teacher). Although I have a great group of students, I do have some "thorns." Please pray for them! However, I am dealing with those "thorns" and hopefully, I can overcome those obstacles and have a productive year. Overall, I really have nothing to complain about. Thats all for now...come back in about two weeks when I post again.

Happy Birthday, Princess!

My Babyluv is now the big THREE. Gosh, time has flown by so fast. She is definitely one of God's many miracles. After two miscarriages, one in February 2002 and the other in October 2002, my Dr. performed several tests and discovered that I have a progesterone deficiency. So, in December of 2002, I started taking progesterone and Babyluv was conceived that very same month!! After 38 weeks of a beautiful pregnancy (including the 51 pounds I gained), it was time for Babyluv to come into this world. My water broke at 11:30 p.m. and she was born via c-section at 2:55 a.m. She was breech, therefore a c-section was necessary. I only endured three minor contractions before they administered the epidural. She weighed 8 lbs. 4 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. She was a "chunky monkey." She remained in the 90th percentile in height and 95th in weight until she hit her 1st birthday. At three, she is now in the 50th percentile in weight and 75th percentile in height. She is tall and thin - a trait she definitely gets from both her parents. She has curly hair like her daddy but has her mommy's attitude and personality. She is so adorable. Gosh, we are so blessed. Thank you God for our precious little Princess!
